Our history

Our history began in 1998, but on February 6th 2018, Viju and VisionsConnected joined forces to become Kinly. Follow the timeline to see our milestones.

Kinly announces the acquisition of AVMI – a leading global AV-integrator and managed services provider, headquartered in UK.

2018

Kinly strengthens in the Benelux with acquisition of MK2 Audiovisual.

Viju and VisionsConnected create a new brand identity – Kinly is born.

2017

Avedon Capital Partners acquires Viju and VisionsConnected to create a leading global provider of video conferencing solutions.

2017

Avedon Capital Partners acquires Viju.

2015

Viju launches industry leading VijuCloud service (now called KinlyCloud).

2013

Viju expands APAC operations with new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Viju acquires division of Kongsberg Oil & Gas Technologies.

The name Kinly derives from the word ‘Kin’, which represents an ancient Scandinavian term for ‘relations, family and/or a community of like-minded individuals.’ This ethos forms the heart of everything we do at Kinly, which is focused on bringing together a group of people from all over the world in a like-minded fashion, to enable the delivery of some of the world’s most innovative and technologically complex solutions for clients big and small on the global stage.
